    • Hi James, I talked with the owner today, there are no known issues. The interior is in the process of being renovated just because the seats were looking shabby. I hope to have pics of the new interior next week. The autopilot breaker is pulled but not due to opp issue, the school that is using it prefers not to have that option open to their students right now.

1942 Steerman // Showstopper // N71WR

This 1942 Boeing PT-17 Stearman was surplused by the USAF and used at a Chicago vocational school until the late 1980s. Restored in 1995 at ~1,700 TTAF, it received new wing wood, cables, wiring, hardware, Ceconite 102 covering, and overhauled instruments. Always hangared and never used for spraying or dusting, it’s been flown purely for fun. With two years of clean Blackstone oil analysis and well-documented maintenance, this Stearman is smooth, strong, and ready to fly.
